Double Barb Jig - Painted
This jig is a combination of a half round type head which would become the head for our 7" tube and a jig with superb holding power so that surf fishermen and musky fishermen could use plastic baits and not worry about them coming off when they are cast great distances. The result was a half round/bullet nose jig with two heavy duty barbs on the jig collar. Plastic baits stay on the jig wven when actively cast or speed trolled over great distances. This jig has a salt water , long shank forged 6/0 hook and comes in 1 oz. and 2 oz. sizes. Recommended plastic dressings include the 6" Photoshads, 6" Magnum Twn Tail, the 8" Jig Tail and the 8" Reaper Tail.
